Tijuana and trams

My early morning jog (a resolution still intact) informed me that cycling in fresh snow would be foolhardy so took the tram instead.
This offers the benefits of blogging and music as I would never dream of commuting with earphones in place.
I have had issues with the Last FM app on my phone in recent weeks but this morning it burst into life obediently with Herp Albert’s joyful Spanish Flea. I love the brass and utter cheese of his Tijuana sound though the BBC documentary over Christmas informed me he had never been there prior to forming the band and I didn’t realise everything he had achieved as a performer, artist, producer, label owner and talent spotter. Tijuana also reminds me of It’s a knockout and Stuart Hall which can only be a good thing at 6:35 on a winter’s morning.
You’ll not be surprised to hear the tram fare has gone up, but they have to fund the conversions to carry bicycles somehow I suppose :0(
